How to build the briquette production line

Green industry is becoming more and more popular in the world. The government provide policy subsidy to encourage the development of briquetting industry. Although the briquetting technology has many similarities usually comparing with the pellet fuel, it still has its own unique feature. In the west, People use briquette machine to make fuel for BBQ commonly.

From the surface, the briquette usually has big size than the pellet. The pellet usually has smaller size for the use of put into the hopper of pellet stove. The briquette maybe has different shapes. No matter what kind of shapes, one important thing of briquette fuel is that it has high density and high thermal efficiency, which maybe several times of higher than the raw material. As for the material for briquetting, it is usually the waste crop stalks, furniture process waste and various kinds of plant material, which are of no use in the past. Actually, the briquetting process is a mechanical process which put pressure on the material under a certain temperature in the model. According to different design of briquette machine, it has stamping mechanical briquette machine, screw type briquette machine and hydraulic briquette machine. No matter what kinds of briquette machine and working principles,they make the lignin content comes out and which increase the adhesive ability of particles. Therefore, the small particles combined together stably in the molde. So the lignin content in the biomass material plays an important role during the whole briquetting process. Of course, there are many other factors we should consider during the practical production, like the particle size of raw material, moisture content of raw material, temperature control of pelletizing process and the operator's experience. The specific process is like the below: 

1.Crusher:
 Crusher is to reduce the size of raw materials at 3-5mm, which is suitable for making the briquette.This crusher can crush: small tree branch, cotton stalks, tree bark, coconut shell, rice straw wheat straw, corn straw, grass river reeds, palm husk, soybean stalk or husk, coffee husk, paddy straw, sunflowers stalk, bamboo and many other agrowastes etc. And the whole production line can help you make the materials into the excellent wood fibers, flour and sawdust directly, save energy and high efficiency. Sothe invested cost of the charcoal making can be zero.
 
2. Dryer:
 Air current type dryer is to control the moisture content of raw materials at 8-12%, suitable for making briquette. Too dry or too wet will make the briquette loose, can’t have high density. It is professionally designed for drying different kinds of wood sawdust .
 The whole system consists of fan blower, motor engine, fuel boiler, steel pipe, cyclone and air lock. In this sawdust dryer machine system, wet material is input into hopper by screw feeder. Fuel furnace produces large volume of hot air. The hot air is driven into steel pipes, mixed with wet sawdust and moved through curving pipes and drying chamber by the power of fan blower. Fast moving hot air sustains and is mixed with raw material sent by spiral feeder in the suspending state through the steel pipe; moisture evaporates as the material traverses along the steel pipe and is rendered dry at the discharge end. Humid air is continuously exhausted, thus the material is dried.

3. Briquette making machine:

 Briquetting is a process during which raw materials are compressed under high pressure and high temperature. After the processing of drying and pressing, the briquette is characterized by high density, small in size, better combustion, capable as the substitute for the superior coal or firewood.The lignin content that occurs naturally in biomass is liberated under high pressure and temperature.
 Lignin serves as the glue in the briquetting process, thus binding, compressing the biomass to form into high density briquettes. During this process, no binder needs to be used. So the outputting briquette is a type of clean and green fuel that is ideal for use in furnaces, boilers and open fires.
 
4. Carbonization stove:
 Carbonization furnace is to carbonize the biomass briquette into wood charcoal.
 Carbonization furnace for biomass charcoal can greatly increased carbonizing ratio (increased from about 88% to 99%) and shortened the carbonizing time (from 24 hours to 6 hours), and shows the features of easy operation, higher safety, high efficiency, and energy saving. This furnace is ideal equipment for wood briquettes to have anoxic distillation carbonization.After carbonizing, the electrical conductivity and thermal conductivity will be enhanced; the graphite structure increased, fixed carbon content increased, calorificvalue higher, ash content lower, volatile material reduced, density higher, more solid etc.

After considering the above issues, you have to control the investment for production. How much material do you have or how much material you can buy, the requirement for daily production, worker’s salary, regular replacement of quick spare parts.
