Ensuring the quality of finished product of briquette machine, there are many factors that we should consider during the production. The first is the moisture content of raw material. Actually, the quality of raw material greatly concerned with the output and production cost. Too damp or too dry of the raw material are not advantages to the products quality. Therefore, it is necessary to test the moisture content before put then into the briquette machine. If it is too damp, one simple way is to dry them under sunshine. Or you can choose the professional drying machine for the large scale production. The rotary drum drying machine can be chosen for the preparation before production. The drum use hot air to dry the material in a very short period. Then material is being blown out from the outlet hopper. Of course, the using of drying machine increases the cost for production.
 
The second is the particle size of the raw material. Due to the feature of raw material, the agro waste and forest waste are in different shape and different size. For the smooth production of briquette machine, the feedstock should be crushed into small uniform particle size. This could be an insurance of the finished product quality.  Crushing machine or hammer mill can be used at this time. They cut the materials into small even particle. Also, this could be a cost for production.
 
The third point that affects the briquetting quality is the operational technology, like the temperature control, pressure control or the wearing part condition, as well as the operators production experience. 
 
Now the most important application of biomass briquette is to use it as fuel. Coal, gas and oil are the most important energy in the world in the old days. Due to the heavy environmental issues and high price of fossil fuel, the biomass energy has been concerned by more and more people. It has no air pollution and the raw material can be found anywhere which has been abandoned directly in the part. Briquetting machine make those waste material into precious new fuel. The main disadvantage of densification is the relatively high cost of input energy, which is needed for the production of pellets and briquettes. This will also increase the price of the output product. The output product is in the form of briquettes or pellets. Calorific value, water content and chemical composition are approximately same for both, but the density and strength is usually higher for pellets. The main difference is in size. Pellets are 4-5 times longer than their diameter (ranging between about 6-12 mm), while briquettes have a diameter of 80-90 mm, or dimensions 150 x 70 x 60 mm in the case of prisms. Briquettes and pellets provide a simple use in the fully automatic operation from home use to large scale applications.
 
Briquettes are primarily used instead of firewood for manually charged domestic stoves. Pellets can be used in automatically charged stoves and boilers due to their good flowability, uniform water content, grain size and chemical composition. Consequently, pellet stoves and boilers for domestic applications offer a comfortable operation similar to oil-fired systems. In Sweden pellets are primarily used to substitute coal in large-scale power plants. For this purpose, sawdust is only pelletized in order to reduce transport and storage cost, and the pellets are milled before combustion.
 
Due to the features of briquette machine, the biomass fuel is bound to replace of the fossil fuel in the future. As the development of briquette machine, briquetting technology and people’s awareness, more green fuel are bound to apply in every aspect in our life.
