Generally, the maintenance of propeller should be made after working for 15 to 20 shifts. The maintenance cycle should be shortened if the using frequency is higher in a period of time to ensure normal production of briquette machine. The forming shape and density of briquettes would be greatly influenced if the propeller goes wrong. Therefore, the inspection and maintenance of propeller in briquette machine is quite necessary. Besides, when repairing the propeller, it is recommended that you should use the wear resistant electrode to repair. Because the propeller is used to extrude materials for molding, the wear resistance of which is quite important. After repairing, the gauze should be used to polish the propeller to make its surface smooth so that briquettes produced also have smooth surface. 
 
Taper sleeve is also one of the quick wear parts, its general service life is more than half a year. The taper sleeve is inserted in the molding cylinder of tight fit, thus it is very difficult to get out. The way to remove the taper sleeve is to use a steel welded on the inner wall of the taper sleeve and then watered. Then, it can be removed by tapping lightly using the principle of thermal expansion.
 
Due to the high temperature extrusion in the working process of briquette machine, the front end would wear seriously.
